Gnomixx is a consultancy company founded in 2014 by Marnik Vuylsteke, PhD, whose belief is that statisticians are increasingly not just contributors, asked to help out with data analysis in the end game, but collaborators, needed to help in defining research questions and designing the study from the beginning. Gnomixx works for biotech and plant breeding companies, and research institutes.

Statisticians are increasingly needed to help to set up experiments in a statistical sound manner, to sort out which data are important, and what can be concluded from them. Gnomixx provides services related to experimental design, data collection, statistical analysis and reporting results in the field of genetics, genomics and molecular biology.
